The Build Green Now team, builders of New York’s first hempcrete retrofit and leading industrial hemp advocates in Upstate New York, is pleased to announce:
Hempcrete for Architects - 101: Friday August 5th in Kingston, NY. (9:30am - 2:30pm)

The presentation begins in a hempcrete retrofit house in Kingston, NY, presented by Henry Gage, Jr. and Sally Warren, who retrofit and live in the home and will provide a tour of the home. Your training will include a conversation with an Architect with hemp-lime design experience, a visit to a hemp-lime new build and a conversation with a builder with hemp-lime installation experience.
Within the presentations we discuss, building code, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, finishing, the benefits of using hemp-/lime, integrating hemp/lime into designs, the building process with hemp-lime, approximate costs, material supply chain and the long term value proposition of early experience with this new building material.
